Biography
Federica Guida is one of the youngest sopranos on the international opera scene.
She graduated in Opera Singing at the Alessandro Scarlatti Conservatory in Palermo, cum laude and mention of honour, and she is the winner of international competitions such as Aslico and the Clip of Portofino.
She made her debut at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, at La Scala in Milan, at the Colón in Buenos Aires, and at the Wiener Staatsoper.
Among her most important debuts, she stood out among the youngest interpreters of the Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte at the Wiener Staatsoper. She played the role of Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, the film by Damiano Micheletto. She also made her debut in Gilda, directed by Leo Nucci and conducted by Placido Domingo. She was Oscar in Un ballo in maschera at the Teatro alla Scala and Leïla in Les pêcheurs de perles at the Colón theatre in Buenos Aires.
